As philosophy so often will do. Empedocles leapt to his death into a crater so that he might be deemed a god. Isocrates is said to have starved himself to death. Chrysippus died of laughter after giving wine to his donkey and seeing it attempt to eat figs. Philosophy gets to the mind.

I will hope your fate as a philosopher is less maddening, but no less interesting.

Being banal in this case is hardly so terrible a thing. It means there are people in the world who understand you.
And besides, I've seen your art. You can hardly classify yourself as entirely uncreative and unoriginal.

Your art itself is original. I know you hold yourself in very low esteem, my friend, but that doesn't mean I won't keep trying to show you your worth.

I feel like I remember someone saying once that their troubles were God's way of making sure they didn't get so powerful they fought Him. Was that you?

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being unoriginal. Most art is derivative.

It was me, but I believe the exact quote was, "God nerfed me." Still waiting for the DLC that reinstates my original powers.

Creativity flourishes alongside unoriginality, tbh. It's a lot easier to churn out content when you're not overly concerned about how groundbreaking it is.

I mean, consider the fact all the classical art we hold in esteem is greek/christian mythology fanart.

I'll take your word for it. You're far more the expert on creativity than I, as I said. Though I suppose even in philosophy other philosophers build on one another.

If you get the powers God nerfed, you probably would. You wouldn't've been nerfed if you weren't a threat.
