I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being unoriginal. Most art is derivative.

Creativity flourishes alongside unoriginality, tbh. It's a lot easier to churn out content when you're not overly concerned about how groundbreaking it is.

I mean, consider the fact all the classical art we hold in esteem is greek/christian mythology fanart.
